- Born into a world of struggle and strife. I wrote a book about my life, and all the struggles I've overcome through faith, hope, and trust in God. "Faith is the highest passion in a human being. Many in every generation may not come that far, but none comes further." I waited patiently for the LORD; He turned to me and heard my cry. He Lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3 I am a full-time college student, and a mother of two sons. I am on the Dean's list at college, was nominated for "Women of Promise and Distinction," and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. My hopes are to graduate in the Spring of 2011 as a TV Producer.

That was such an eye opener!!!! I am so grateful you shared this with me. Boy, did I learn so much about abuse and what to look for. Nobody is safe. We really need to be close to our children. This a sick world we live in and we have to look out for the warning signs. Thanks again.

I wanted to ask why do you think God allows this type of suffering? So many innocent people, especially children and women being abused all over the world. What's the purpose of God standing by and letting it happen? What's especially troubling is this is happening in the church itself at an alarming rate and they act as if it's no big deal.

ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right about this terrible abuse happening everywhere; yes even in the church. It's a huge deal. That is why I wrote my childhood testimony, and it is raw. I don't sugar-coat any parts of what happened. It is as ugly as I wrote it. I can tell you that GOD is certainly not the cause of it; blame the devil. It not for us to question GOD because our understanding could never amount to his wisdom and understanding. What I have decided to do is take my suffering and change it to victory. I am on a mission, and that mission is to reach out to abused children. I am committed to reaching out to our youth and educating families about the deviant behavior practiced by these very sick and evil people who go after innocent children. We are our brothers and sisters keeper. Thanks for sharing.
